Planning to have a good tourism experience is something I cannot get easily. One day, I was reading blogs and articles about stories for the best places to visit in the world, and today, I’m writing my own experience and story to let you live the experience with me.

I chose the second-largest country in the world, which is Canada, to be my destination for this trip. As it was my first time visiting Canada, I stayed with my friends instead of staying at a hotel, and that was much better and more fun.

I’ve worked in the New Zealand tourism industry for over 15 years and am passionate about all things New Zealand. I am however always disappointed to hear when travelers to the country decide to skip one of my favorite NZ cities — even most kiwis haven’t discovered the hidden gems of Dunedin.

Dunedin has a reputation for being a “scarfie city” — renowned for its university — the scarfies are students at the university who put on their puffer jackets and scarves when they discover the cold wind that comes with the territory. …

Switzerland is a beautiful country, with everything from pristine lakes to the highest peaks in the Alps. Zermatt is one of those places that you can’t help but fall in love with. The village lies at Matterhorn Glacier and Weisshorn Mountain, the two highest mountains in the Alpine range. I went there for summer vacation this year and had an incredible time- so much so that I want to share my experience with you!

Visiting the island of Pag is an excellent idea all year round, not only in the summer. There is so much more to see and explore; I have covered just the basics. But, if I mentioned it all, there would not be much left to discover for yourself, right? Check it out!

1. Ferry boat, catamaran, and the bridge (and a cute little boat)

The island of Pag is the only island in Croatia connected to the mainland with a ferry boat line, catamaran, and a bridge. Whichever you decide to choose, you will have a unique experience. The ferry boat docks in the rockiest landscape you ever saw…

Tataouine is known for being the largest state in Tunisia, and the place where traditions and culture remain preserved at all costs. Perhaps the most well-known places are Chenini and Douiret: two villages located on a hilltop in Tataouine. Approximately 20km from the city, the ancient Amazigh villages Chenini and Douiret are as lofty as ever. They are mainly known for their mesmerizing handicrafts, beautiful architecture, as well as cultured people with hospitality and good manners that will make you feel at home.

New Zealand’s South Island is a place of small rural towns. Sure, we have a few cities. Christchurch, for instance, with a population of 380,000, is the country’s second-biggest metropolis. Dunedin, one of the world’s most southerly municipalities, is a university city infused with the culture of the Scottish settlers who arrived here in the 1860s. With a population of 53,000, Nelson basks in the sunshine at the top of the island and has the honor of being known as New Zealand’s sunniest city. …
